Jenniflower was set up in 2004 by Jennifer Stones and started life as an open air flower stall. By Spring 2006, with increasing demand it was time to expand and move into a shop.
It was while in London pursuing a career in Fashion Photography that Jennifer discovered, somewhat by chance her passion for flowers. Having worked in display and window dressing for The Conran Shop and later for Habitat, she finally decided to concentrate on Floristry. Rather than enlisting on a course she chose to learn on the job. Five years of invaluable experience later, Jenniflower was born.
Central Station Crescent in Queen Street has proved to be a great location. Only a fraction off the beaten track, the crescent is home to a number of small independent businesses. The attractive shop front with it's old fashioned awnings and ceiling to floor windows was long admired by Jennifer as a college student but the move essentially helped to cater for bigger events. Jenniflower is now highly in demand for wedding flowers throughout the region.
The space has been lovingly nurtured over the years and in addition to fresh flowers and plants also offers an ever growing eclectic range of home wear, gifts and garden accessories. Many visitors to Exeter make it a priority to visit us, not just to buy treats for themselves or friends but to admire the highly creative displays. We are always welcome browsers!
